Home / Our vision
Closer care, kept together, for every family in India.
Healthcare in India is changing fast. We’re building the connected layer that makes it work for patients first, starting in the towns and villages of Andhra Pradesh.
The shift we’re making
Most health apps fix one step. We connect every step, so care doesn’t fall apart between them.
One network, with the patient at the centre
Today every provider keeps its own records. On Vimshatika, every provider the patient visits connects through one shared record, and the patient decides who sees it.
Because records follow India’s national standards, they also connect to the ABDM network, so care can continue at any registered hospital in the country.
The value we add for everyone
A connected platform works only if it’s better for every person in it. Here’s what each one gains.
Patients and families
- Find trusted care nearby without asking around
- Spend less through generic medicines and fewer repeat tests
- Never lose a report, and book for parents and children from one account
Doctors
- See the full history before the patient walks in
- Spend less time on notes and paperwork
- Keep in touch with patients after the visit
Hospitals and clinics
- Shorter queues and fewer missed appointments
- A live view of beds, theatres and staff schedules
- Faster insurance settlements
Labs
- Steady bookings from patients nearby
- Results delivered once, straight to patient and doctor
- Accreditation that patients can see and trust
Pharmacies
- Clear digital prescriptions instead of handwriting
- Predictable orders and refill demand
- Home delivery requests from the neighbourhood
Nurses and caregivers
- A verified profile that builds trust with families
- Home-visit bookings close to where they live
- Fair, transparent earnings
Insurers
- Claims backed by verified, structured records
- Quicker pre-authorisation
- A clear network of accepting providers
India’s health system
- More records in the national FHIR standard, linked to ABHA
- Care reaching people outside big cities
- Better data, shared with consent, for planning public health
What it can mean for one family
Take a family managing one long-term condition, like diabetes. Small changes each month add up.
Illustrative example. Actual costs depend on the condition, medicines and location.
Monthly costs, before and after
Generic medicines, fewer trips, no repeated tests
Starting where it’s needed most
We’re designing for the families big-city apps often leave out.
Simple to use
Clear screens, large buttons and plain words, so an elderly parent can book a visit as easily as their children.
One account for the family
One person can book and manage care for parents, children and grandparents, with each adult’s consent.
Less travel
Video consultations for follow-ups, and nurses who come home for dressings, injections and elderly care.
Local partners first
We’re onboarding hospitals, labs and pharmacies in Andhra Pradesh before expanding to other states.
How we’ll measure our impact
We’ll track these from the first day of our beta and share the results openly.
| What we measure | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Time to see a doctor | Shows whether care is truly closer and faster to reach |
| Repeat tests avoided | Shared records should mean fewer tests done twice |
| Savings from generic medicines | Direct money saved by families each month |
| Follow-ups completed | Care that continues after the visit leads to better health |
| Patients reached outside cities | Our purpose is care for every town and village |
| Records linked to ABHA, with consent | Builds India’s connected health network |
| Provider satisfaction | The platform only works if doctors, labs and pharmacies find it useful |
